Incorporated in 2008, Specialty Equipment is focused on developing and designing new products for professionals and enthusiasts in a variety of markets.  Additionally, the company has proven itself as top supplier of metal fabricated parts and accessories to many existing manufacturers and retailers. 

Located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Specialty Equipment has welding, fabrication, power-coat painting and a machine shop on site.  This combined with overseas manufacturing gives Specialty the ability to efficiently handle short runs and piece work as well as large scale manufacturing, sourcing and supply.  Whether the customer needs ten pieces of an obsolete part, or design and development of a product for mass retailers, Specialty Equipment is set up to handle their needs.

Founder Mark Kenny has over 30 pending and patented inventions to his name, as well as 20 years of successful business ventures.  These include well known items such as the ProLocker wheel locking system and the new Extreme Tailgate ramps.  His ability to review and subsequently improve the design, manufacturability and usefulness of existing products has become well known to many corporations and led to Specialty Equipment being utilized in this capacity by manufacturers all across the US.

Throughout his experience laden life, Mark has worked as a commercial fisherman in the North Atlantic and a charter boat captain in the eastern US, worked in the cattle and agricultural industry in the southern US, and founded a very successful landscape installation and maintenance company in the Martin County, FL area.  Mark is an avid outdoorsman along with the majority of the Specialty Equipment family.
